Entry In billets. Two machine guns left at 7.45am to take up position in support line CUINCHY. 12.10pm. Left GONNEHEM and marched to billets at ANNEQUIN via CHOQUES - BETHUNE - BEUVRY. A long check at BEUVRY owing to battalion in front not acting in accordance with Bde orders. The drums played as far as BEUVRY, where transport was billeted. 5 pm. Arrived ANNEQUIN. Two sections C Coy took over Garrison TOURBIERES REDOUBT. 2/Lt Blackburn 2/Lt Chase 2/Lt Nicholls joined Battn. Reinforcement of 13 (2 NCO's) wounded or sick joined battalion.
