| Entry | All day was spent in resting and general cleaning up. A divisional conference of Commanding Officers was held at 4pm. The Inter-platoon Football Competion was continued. Weather:- a very hot and sultry day, with violent thundrstorms most of the night. Remarks 2/Lt C D HAMPSHIRE and 11 OR went to Seaside Rest Camp. Extract from Brigade Routine Order dated 7th June 1917. A/MAJOR D J WARD 1/4th R Berkshire Regt attached 1/5th Gloucester Regt awarded MILITARY CROSS. The Adjutant was attached to the Brigade. |
