Entry Training was continued. All blankets were sent to the Thresh Machine at PERONNE: cleaning was hardly wanted. The GOC Brigade inspected the Transport at 10.30am., and the report was very satisfactory. Two platoons of D Company gave and exhibition of wire cutting with breakers, and hand cutters at Brigade HQ at 2pm. A Divisional Conference was held at 3pm. - all Commanding Officers, Seconds in Command and Adjutants attended. The Commanding Officer gave a Cup to be held by the winning team in the Inter-Platoon Football Knock Out Competition. Weather:- a very hot day, with heavy thunder rain all night.
