Entry Voluntary Services were held during the day. The FIELD MARSHAL COMMANDING-IN-CHIEF, under authority granted by HM THE KING awarded the MILITARY CROSS to the undermentioned Officers, in connection with the attack made on the 5th April. LIEUTENANT (T CAPT) O B CHALLONER 1/4th Royal Berkshire Regiment 2/LIEUTENANT (A CAPT) O M JAMES 1st East Surrey Regiment attached to 1/4th Royal Berkshire Regiment. 2/LIEUTENANT T ROGERS 1/4th Royal Berkshire Regiment. The GOC DIVISION inspected the Battalion in the afternoon (a few notes on his speech attached) A5. Weather:- a fine day.
