Entry The BRIGADE attacked the three villages of RONSSOY, BASSE BOULOGNE and LEMPIRE in the early morning (see Special Report) A.1. We took over the RIGHT Subsector at night, handing over what we held on the RIGHT after the attack to the 59th DIVISION, and taking over the position held by the OXFORDS and GLOUCESTERS (see map) A.2. A and C Companies were in the FRONT LINE. D Company in SUPPORT, and B company in RESERVE, with BATTN HQ at ESCLAINVILLERS WOOD. (A2) The relief was completed about midnight. Weather:- a very thick misty morning with weather clear later. With the sun out, the snow soon disappeared and the going all day was extremely heavy.
