Entry Work was continued on the Outpost Defences of the main defence line, every man available being out. At 12.40am. (24th) orders were received to send up 4 platoons in support and the rest of the Battalion to be ready to move at short notice. The health of the Battalion rapidly improved, there was plenty of work, but the fine weather and getting away from the trench life, were the greatest possible advantages. Weather:- a fine day, very cold wind.
