War Diary

1917-03-10
Regiment 1/4th Royal Berkshire
Location France, [the trenches]
Entry A Brigade Conference was held at 2pm., when the raid to be carried out by the OXFORDS and GLOUCESTERS was postponed for 24 hours. The thaw made the trenches worse than ever, the walls falling in, and, with the crust on the top of the mud thawing, the conditions were very bad. Remarks Casualties: 1 wounded. LT B F HOLMES and 2/LT R J PRING returned from Divisional School.
