Entry We relieved the OXFORDS in the left Subsector completing the relief by 10.15pm. The trenches were in bad condition, all relieving having to be done over the top. Dispositions:- Right Company "D" Company Centre Company "B" Company Left Company "C" Company Reserve Company "A" Company The relief worked satisfactorily. Our guns bombarded the enemy's front line from 1am. - 1.3am. (28th) in conjunction with a raid the 33rd Division were making on our left, and again at 5.25a.m. for half and hour in conjunction with the 14th Corps operations. The enemy's reply was very small. Weather:- a muggy day.
