Entry The Brigade moved to the OISEMONT area. The Battalion left at 5.25am. & marched via RIBEMONT to entrain at HEILLY. One lorry went straight through with valises and boxes: two lorries to the Station with blankets. The cooks went with the latter to get tea ready at the Station on the arrival of the Battalion. The entrainment was satisfactory: we left at 8.30am. Arriving at OISEMONT at 1.20pm: and marched to CITERNE arriving about 2.30pm. The village was good and the inhabitants were most friendly. There were good billets, and beds for all officers. It was a very welcome change for everyone in the Battalion after the hard time and discomforts of the past few months. The Transport arrived about 3.30pm. Weather:- a fine morning, showery later. Remarks Major J N ALDWORTH, MC, returned from Aldershot and assumed the duties of 2nd in Command. 2/Lt C A HOSKING went on leave.
