| Entry | The Battalion should have been relieved today, but the present arrangements were cancelled and the following substituted:- The 143 or 144 Brigade to be up for 8 days, each Battalion of the 145 Brigade being up for 4 days. This arrangement however, was dependent on the weather. C and A Companies relieved B and D Companies repectively. After dark the shelling of the front and support lines was the same as on the 23rd. Weather:- fine day, wet night. |
