Entry | During the day all arrangements were made for making the attack, but in the late afternoon orders were received cancelling it. A and D would have made the attack, B moving up to the front line, C remaining in their present position. Very little work was possible in the trenches owing to the frozen state of the ground. Work was carried on by the support Company in improving the dugouts etc. Weather:- a fine day, very cold and a very cold and misty night. Remarks Casualties: 3 wounded. |
