| Entry | We relieved the 5th GLOSTERS at MARTINPUICH, completing the relief by 7p.m. A and B Companies were in the village, C and D in the trenches to the South. Accommodation for all Companies was bad; no shelters of any description for the two companies in the trenches. Weather:- a wet day, fine evening. A draft of 40 joined the Battalion. Remarks Casualties: 1 killed, 2 wounded. |
