Entry Working parties of 230 were found for the Town Major. Baths were allotted to the Battalion in the afternoon. The Commanding Officer and Company Commanders rode over to MARTINPUICH in the morning re Taking over the Line. Captain BOYLE took command of "C" Company, Captain HOLCROFT being required for the Divisional School as soon as it started. Lieut NORRISH took temporary command of "B" Company in the temporary absence of Lieutenant TRIPP. The undermentioned officers left the Battalion to join the Second Battalion of the Royal Berkshire Regiment.
