| Entry | We were relieved by the 5th CLOSTERS, the relief being complated by 12.15p.m. We moved back to our old Billets at SOUASTRE, all the Coys being in by 2.15p.m. Weather:- a fine day, rain at night. The following were appointed 2/Lieuts and posted to this Battalion:- 2/Lieut R A Wickens: 2/Lieut B A Ross: 2/Lieut R H Turner: 2/Lieut J W Cawley: 2/Lieut T Rogers: 2/Lieut E W Crust. These appointments were very pleasing to all ranks in the Battalion. These Officers, by their conduct and bravery, had well won the honour conferred on them.
