| Entry | 2nd Lieutenant GREGORY and his party rejoined from the Seaside Camp. At 9.00a.m. we received orders to move to WARLINCOURT area. We joined the rest of the Brigade at CONTURELLE. We arrived at our area at 1.15 p.m., two Companies being billeted at WARLINCOURT and Two at GRINCOURT. The billeting accommodation was small and the Battalion was rather crowded. Weather:- a fine day. The GOC - in - Chief awarded the following decoration:- Distinguished Service Order Lieut Colonel R J Clarke, 1/4th Royal Berkshire Regt. |
