| Entry | In billets. Training of Companies in the morning. Officers attended demonstration on Trench Mortar on Sports Ground at 11am. Capt Radford, Adjt, Coy Cmdrs and MG Officer reconnoitred 2nd line defences through LE PREOL, allotted to the Battn in the afternoon. Officers entertained Brig Gen Daly, Maj Kelly (Bde Maj) Capt Isaac (Staff Capt), Lieut Lancaster (AVS) (all 6th Bde Staff) also Col Jelf & Capt Dennison (1/KRR) and Capt O'Keefe to dinner. Major Bird returned from leave and resumed command of the battalion. Anniversary of war. |
