| Entry | The 6th Avenue having been lost by the OXFORDS in the night the Battn moved up for the Counter-attack. See report attached. We were relieved by the GLOSTERS, the relief being completed about 2p.m. We moved back to USNA Redoubt Gunpits, which made very comfortable billets. Weather:- a very hot morning: heavy rain middle day: showery afternoon and night. Remarks 2/Lt Hine went to Hospital. |
