Location France, BETHUNE
Entry In billets. Training by Coys from 7-7.45am and 9-10.30am. Horse show began 11am. The Battalion transport, under Lt Qr Mst F S Boshell took the following prizes: (1) Heavy Draught 1st. (2) Light Draught 3rd. (3) Pack Animals 1st and 2nd. (4) Pair heavy draught turnout complete 1st. (5) Pair light draught turnout complete 1st. (6) The bending race was won by Adjutants horse Bess ridden by Captain Isaac. The Officers of the regiment were at home on the ground for tea, about 200 partook of tea the arrangements were excellent thanks to Capt Leggatt DSO and the mess staff. Lieut S D Large RAMC relieved Capt Talbot as MO.
