Entry We moved to BOUZINCOURT, leaving at 6.45a.m. bivouacing in a field North of the village. Tents were sent up by degrees. A Brigade Conference was held at 6p.m. for Commanding Officers and orders were issued re the attack on points 39 - 79 - 97.11 and 81 (see map) the OXFORDS were making the attack and we moved to bivouacs to the East of ALBERT, to be in support, Companies moving off at 9p.m. with five minute interval. A Company found carrying parties for the OXFORDS. A very cold night and little sleep was possible. Weather:- a wet morning, fine later.
