Working parties of one Officer and 65 men Per company for carrying Smoke Candles, etc. in the trenches, leaving at 9.45p.m., and returning about 2.30a.m. - most of them were wet up to the waist. A conference of Commanding Officers held at Brigade 4.30p.m. Weather:- a fine day until about 5p.m. very heavy rain afterwards. |
