Regiment	1/4th Royal Berkshire
Location	France, Mailly-Maillet
Entry	All day was spent in resting. The two Brigades moved back to the bivouacs at COUIN etc. in the afternoon. We moved at 6.30p.m. arriving at the huts at COUIN at 9.30p.m. - a good march. The feeling of disappointment seemed far greater when we returned. Weather:- a fine day, wet night.
