| Entry | Working parties as on the 19th. Enemy's guns were quieter most of the day, but their Minenwerfers were active on our left front by night. One of our aeroplanes was forced to descend near PUISIEUX: crowds of the enemy at once rushed round in mumbers estimated at many hundreds. Patrols from A and C Companies were out all night, but had nothing to report. Weather: a fine day. Remarks Lt Ridley returned from Leave, and posted to B Coy. |
