| Entry | The Battalion relieved the 5th GLOSTERS in "H" Sector at HEBUTERNE. D and B Companies up in the Line: C Company in Battalion Reserve: 'A' Company in Brigade Reserve at SAILLY. The Relief was completed about 12.25p.m. Battalion HQ were in Billet 81. Working parties for various Communication Trenches were found by A Coy, C Company and 150 from the 5th GLOSTERS. Four Officers of the Battalion went round the trenches of the 31st Divn. Weather:- a fine day. Remarks Lt Taylor went on Leave. |
