Entry The Battalion moved off at 5.30a.m. to the Brigade Starting Point - OCCOCHE. The Brigade left at 6a.m. We were at the head of the column. Route:- HEM - ORVILLE - SARTON - THIEVRES - AUTHIE - St LEGER - COUIN. A three hours halt was made just east of SARTON and tea was issued. We arrived in Huts at COUIN 3.30p.m. - only three men fell out on the march. Weather:- a lovely day. Remarks The CO proceeded to FLIXICOURT to attend a course of COs Conference. Capt Battcock assumed Tempy Command of the Battalion.
