| Entry | The Battalion moved off at 7.0a.m. for a Battalion Route-march. Very heavy thunder rain started just as they were leaving and as they were wet through in a very few minutes they returned to billets and marched again in the afternoon. The Commanding Officer and three Company Commanders rode to VALHEUREUX for Mortar Demonstrations, but just before the time fixed two explosions occured and the demonstration was put off. Weather:- Wet morning, fine afternoon. |
