Entry The Range was allotted to D Company. B Company and one Platoon of A Company usual Company training. C Company and three Platoons of A Company marched to AUTHIEVILLE for unloading ammunition, pit props, etc. The GOC visited the Training Ground and Range in the morning. The Corps Commander inspected D Company as they were moving up to the Range: he said he had never seen a better looking Company in this Country. He also added he was proud of them for the work they had done and the way they had fought on the night of 15/16th, and they had every reason to be proud of themselves. Weather:- a fine morning, wet afternoon. Remarks Lt Challoner went to School of Instruction (Transport) HAVRE.
