Entry Working parties as before. B and D Companies relieved A and C Companies, after tea: A Coy Headquarters and 2 platoons moved to SAILLY. Their guns were quiet all the morning, but from 3.30 to 5p.m. they were busy on the Right and Centre, chiefly 77mm and 10.5cm. The Lewis Gun Post in DOMINIQUE took a direct hit and all were buried, but fortunately no one was killed. Weather:- a fine day and wet night. Remarks Lt Cooke went for a months training as Adjutant to the 2nd Gordon Highlanders.
