Entry Working parties as on the 8th instant. Very little work could be done by day, but for the following week all parties were employed from 7.30p.m. to mid-night. About 5a.m. seven Minenwerfers fell on the Centre of the front line, and six more about 11.0a.m. on the right of the front line. Their guns were busy on our line from 10a.m. till 11.30a.m. and from 2 to 3.0p.m. Rifle Grenades were fired on two of our Right Posts most of the night. The Acting GOC visited us about 9.30a.m. Weather a cold, wet day and night.
