| Entry | Working parties of 100 from each Company were employed most of the day in burying cable. Church Parade was attended by the rest of the Battalion at 10.0a.m. A meeting of Officers and Sergeants was held at 12.15p.m. An out-door concert was held at 8p.m., when the Commanding Officer presented the medals to the Winners and Runnrs-up of the Battalion Platoon Competition. Weather: a showery day. Remarks Coy QMS Beasley & Sergt N Clayton were Gazetted 2/Lts in the Battn dated 30/4/1916 |
