| Entry | The 144th Brigade relieved the 145th Bde the 4th GLOSTERS relieving us by 12.30p.m. We moved back to AUTHIE to our great joy but not to old billets: all ranks of the Battalion were very happy to be back again in the village and we received a most kindly welcome from all the inhabitants. The last platoon arrived in billets about 4.0p.m. Weather: a lovely day and night. A Conference of Company Commanders was held at 6p.m. Remarks A reinforcement of 18 Other Ranks joined the Battalion. |
