Location France, Hebuterne
Entry Working parties on Communication trenches only. Enemy's guns were quiet all the morning but were very active all the afternoon and night. No work was possible in the new trench, which was badly knocked about. The GOC held another Conference of Commanding Officers and Adjutants in the afternoon. Patrols from B and D Company went out in front of the new wire most of the night. Weather:- a wet day. Remarks Capt Lacey & Lt Cooke went on Leave. Lt Field retd from Leave. Casualties - three wounded.
