| Entry | The usual platoon inspections were held. A Smoke Demonstration, shewing the effect of Smoke candles, phosphorous and phosphorous bombs was held for all troops in the Brigade who were out of the trenches. "D" Company found the party to show the nil effects of passing through the smoke in a gas attack. Weather:- a lovely day. Remarks Capt Lewis & 2/Lt Down returned from Sick Leave. |
