Entry We relieved the BUCKS Battalion, taking over "G" Section of the line:- A Company Right; "C" Company Centre; "D" Company Left. Bombing attack made by the 5th GLOSTERS - the Battalion on our Left - between the hours of 12.0 and 1.0a.m. The enemy retaliated vigourously and our trenches came in for a certain amount of shelling. 4 Officers and 16 other ranks were attached to us for instruction - they were 18th West Yorks, forming part of the 31st Division. Weather: a dull day. Remarks Casualties - 2 wounded in action - GAS.
