Entry Working parties as before. C Coy relieved D Coy. Enemy's guns were again most active, the shelling lasting all day, chiefly on the village and Reserve Line and Communication trenches, all the latter receiving several direct hits. Their Signals and Rockets in the evening were very interesting, red and green being used in different order and being replied to. A patrol under the command of Lieut Calder, went out from 9p.m. till mid-night on the PUISIEUX ROAD. They were able to locate three Machine Gun positions. Weather: a fine day. Remarks Casualties - 2 wounded.
