| Entry | Working parties in all trenches. The GOC and Brigadier inspected the Centre and Right Company trenches at 7.0a.m. Enemy's guns were again very active all the day, the shelling being almost continuous. One of their aeroplanes dropped a bomb in the village in the afternoon. Lt Challoner went to Brigade as training for a Staff Captain. Weather: a lovely day. Remarks 2/Lt Bartram went to Div School of Instruction. A notice in the Gazette of the CO being promoted to Lieut Colonel was received, anti-dated Feb 14th. |
