Entry We relieved the BUCKS Battalion from 10a.m. onwards, the relief being completed by noon. Dispositions:- A Right Company, B Centre, C and D Left or Reserve Company aternately. Each Company found two Platoons up, two in Support, and left Company finding one Platoon for work under Company Commander and another platoon for work under the Regimental Pioneer Section. All working parties were employed in clearing the snow from the trenches. Enemy's guns were quiet most of the day, but their Machine Guns were very active. The Division is now part of the VIII Corps. Weather: a fine day. Remarks Capt Thorne, Lt G Hardy, 2/Lt Taylor joined the Battn, the first named remaining with Transport. Lt G Hardy to B Coy, Lt Taylor to D Coy.
