Entry The usual platoon inspections were held in the morning. The Commanding Officer inspected Transport at 9.30a.m. and the billets at SAILLY at 11a.m. The inter-platoon football league was carried on in the afternoon. The Commanding Officer gave an Entertainment to the NCOs of the Battalion in the afternoon, the Divisional Variety Troupe "The Curios" coming over for the occasion. Weather: a fine day with hard frost at night. Remarks Lt Hine retd from the Base, and a Draft of 103 NCOs and men joined the Battn.
