| Entry | A and C Companies relieved B and D Companies. Enemy guns were not quite so active, but all the morning they were firing constantly on the village and communication trenches - chiefly with their heavy guns. Weather:- a showery day, fine night. Remarks Capt Lacey rejoined the Battn, Lieut Oldacre joined the MG Corps. Lt Ridley went for a month to the III Army School of Instruction as Adjutant. Casualties:- 2 wounded (shell shock) |
