Entry B and D Companies relieved A and C Companies by 3.30p.m. All the enemy guns were again very active, shells falling chiefly in the village, Battalion Reserve Line and the Communication trenches. Our heavy guns fired on PUISIEUX amd BUCQUOY and the enemy at once shelled SAILLY and HEBUTERNE. One of their shells burst on one of the Brickfield Dugouts; there were seven men inside and although no one was actually killed they were very much shaken up - a most fortunate escape. Weather:- a fine day. Remarks Casualties:- 4 wounded (shell shock) 1 slightly wounded
