Entry In the morning, the 47th Howitzer Battery and No 1 Siege Battery shelled enemy's new crater for an hour but apparently failed to drive him out. Enemy replied with "Fizz Bangs". Relieved by 1/KRR at 4pm. On return to billets at LE QUESNOY had to find a working party of 40 every six hours, and two mining fatigues of 1 NCO and 12 men every 8 hours. 2/Lt Weston returned from leave. Captain A.G.F. Isaac took over the duties of Staff Capt 6th Inf Bde from Bt Maj Hudson to 47th Div.
