Entry | Working parties as on the 3rd. The enemy's 4.2's fired continuously on the Right trenches from 11.0a.m. to 3.0p.m. About 4.30p.m. they fired 7 round salvoes on the village and our trenches. Their Machine Guns were very active at Evening "stand-to" and about 7.0p.m., sweeping the parapets of our trenches continuously. Weather:- a fine day. Remarks The CO, Capt Battcock and Lewis went on leave, Capt Boyle took command of B Coy. Casualty:- 1 wounded. |
