| Entry | The 145th brigade relieved the 144th Brigade in the usual order and at the same times - "B" and "D" Companies to the Front Line, "A" Company to the Keep, "C" Company to the Chateau. Working parties were found in the evening on all the Communication Trenches. A Conference of Commanding Officers was held at Brigade Headquarters at 4.30p.m. The enemy's guns were quiet, except for some shelling in the afternoon, but their machine guns were much more active. Weather:- a fine day. |
