Entry Battalion left billets at 4.45 pm and marched via LE QUESNOY to take over sub section B3, just NW of GIVENCHY from GLASGOW HIGHLANDERS. This line was adjoining and in left of line formerly held by the battalion at GIVENCHY. Trenches in very bad repair. Front Line: B Coy on right. C Coy on left. A Company were in support at HERTS REDOUBT. D Company in support at WINDY CORNER. A quiet night. Captain Leggett DSO rejoined the Battalion. Following awards received officially from 6th Brigade. Captain Radford DSO, Lt Colbourne, [unreadable] and Searle, Military Cross, Sergt Hart DCM Lieut GFM Hall arrived to join Battalion.
