| Entry | The route-march, previously arranged, was cancelled. Companies did Company Training in the morning. The GOC Division has given a "Football Cup" for which all units in the 48th Division will compete. In the first round we were drawn against the 5th Glosters and were beaten 2 goals to 1. The early stages of the game were witnessed by the Corps Commander. At 5.30p.m. the "Varlet" Musical Troupe from 1/1st Field Ambulance gave an excellent performance at the Café Nationale. Weather:- a dull day. Remarks Capt Bean returned from fortnight furlough. Lt Sharpe retd from Bombing Course. |
