Entry Working parties as on the 15th - morning only. "B" and "D" Companies relieved "A" and "C" mid-day. The trenches were shewing a great improvement, the extra platoons being a great help. The work on the Breastwork sap was carried on for 12 hours, viz. 6p.m. to 6.0a.m., three reliefs of 16 men as working party and 10 for the screen. The enemy put 4 shells into the BRICKFIELDS in the morning, and with this exception their guns were quiet all day. A special Order of the Day was received - (Copy attached) Weather:- a fine day with rain late at night.
