| Entry | C & D Coys bathing in swimming bath from 8am to 10am. A & B Coys and details Divine Service in theatre at 9am. Dull cloudy day promising rain. Captain O'Kieffe RAMC came to visit the Officers Mess. At 11.30am the Btn marched out with transport to a place about 3 miles away, where they met the 4th Battn R Berks, had dinners there, after which sports were arranged, tug of war, football, etc. The Btn returned about 5.15pm having had a very enjoyable day. The C.O. attended a conference of O.C. Battns at Brigade HQrs at 4 pm. Captain Large returned from leave from England. |
