Entry | The RIR relieved "C" Company at 9.0a.m. The 144th Brigade relieved the 145th 10.0a.m. onwards, the order of the relief being changed on account of the straffe of the 4th Division for 2.0p.m., the order being 5th GLOSTERS, OXFORDS, BUCKS, ROYAL BERKS. The Companies left the village from 3.0p.m., the last Company arriving at AUTHIE at 6.50p.m. - the "going" was heavy. The billets occupied were the same as at our last rest. Five 5.9s fell in CHARLES MULLER about 10.0a.m., followed by a few "77s" Weather:- a fine day, inclined to mist. |
