Entry The condition of the trenches greatly improved in the day. Both companies worked well and extra parties from "C" company enabled much more work to be done. About mid-day the enemy fired 14 shells into the Orchard and the SERRE Cross roads, and 8 into HOCHE. Weather :- A fine day - snow fell in the early morning. Remarks Capt Attride took over Command of "D" Coy from Capt Thorne (to Hospital)
