Entry Working parties from D Company and the two Platoons of the Royal Inniskilling Fusilliers on the new dug-outs for Right and Left HQ, the Battalion HQ, Breastworks, and Bricks for A and C Coys - morning only. "A" Company RIF took over the line a 3.0p.m. - Nos 1 and 2 Platoons on th Right: 3 and 4 on the Left. Our "A" and "C" Companies kept their usual positions, but took over no duties. Corporal Collyer, was granted eight days Special Leave by GOC Division for "good instuctional work" at the Grenadier School. A wet day and night. Remarks Major Hedges went on leave.
