| Entry | Working parties were found by D Company for the new Coys HQ., the dug-outs in the Brickfields, new loop-holes at head of Communication trenches. The support platoons of A and C Companies were all employed in clearing the trenches after the rain. No work was possible in the afternoon. The enemy fired 8 shells in GUDIN about 10.0a.m. A wet day and night. Remarks Lieut Cruttwell returned from leave. Capt Attride went sick for a few days. |
